Fertilizer contains phosphorus and nitrogen, which can be harmful to the environment
Check the weather
Don't apply fertilizer during a:
- Flood watch
- Tropical storm watch/warning
- Hurricane watch/warning
- Heavy rain is expected (2+inches in 24 hours)
