CDBG Senior Roof Replacement Program – CLOSED

The City of Pompano Beach Office of Housing and Urban Improvement (OHUI) has temporarily closed the CDBG Senior Roof Replacement Program to new applications due to the current volume of cases being processed. Effective August 20, 2026, OHUI is no longer accepting new applications for this program.

Applicants who submitted or started an application on or before August 20, 2026, will continue to have access to their existing application, regardless of its current status.

The CDBG Senior Roof Replacement Program provides up to $30,000 to assist eligible homeowners with the cost of roof replacement.

To qualify, applicants must be City of Pompano Beach residents who are 62 years of age or older or disabled, meet very low- or low-income limits, and occupy the home as their primary residence. Eligible properties must be single-family homes with 100% homestead exemption. Applicants must also have homeowner’s insurance, be current on their mortgage and property taxes, not own any additional property, and have household assets not exceeding $50,000.
