Pompano Beach provides and maintains a broad range of programs, facilities, and services throughout the community.
Parks and Recreation offers 205 programs, including recreational and sports programs, as well as before- and after-school, youth development, senior, and adult programs. These programs result in over 2,000 opportunities for the public to participate in recreational and community activities.
The Cultural Affairs Department offers more than 500 visual and performing arts opportunities each year for residents and visitors to engage with the arts. Across the City's five cultural venues, programming ranges from theater, comedy and live music, including Soulful Sundays at Ali Cultural Arts, to public art, exhibitions and art classes. Signature events include Jazz Fest, Old Town Untapped and Green Market, while Bailey Contemporary Arts hosts an artist-in-residence program.
Additional community programming offered through other City departments include the Fourth of July Celebration, Caribbean Fest, Nautical Flea Market, Drone Show, Amphitheater concerts and a wide variety of community focused experiences.
