During routine maintenance being conducted today at the City’s water treatment plant, pressure in the system went down temporarily in areas of the SW and NW sections of the City, therefore out of an abundance of caution, the City of Pompano Beach is issuing a precautionary boil water notification.

Get the Skills to Get the Job and the Credential to Prove It! Get Started ... Orientation

2nd Monday of Every Month from January - September 2023, 4pm - 6pm

The City of Pompano Beach is now a Florida Ready to Work Proctor Location for Pompano Beach residents, which provides training and credentialing of the foundational & transferable employability skills required for most jobs in Florida.

Those who successfully complete the program earn the Florida Work Ready Credential and the Florida Soft Skills Credential. Both credentials are signed by the Governor and are recognized as a common measure of foundational skill readiness for most jobs across industry sectors.

This program is broad based. It's for any level and any person. Participants must pass four (4), one-hour proctored assessments validating mastery of skill that correlate with the U.S. Department of Labor O*NET Job Zones, the nation's primary source of occupational data.
