Special Exception, Variance, Major Temporary Use, or Interim Use Permit

PRE-APPLICATION MEETING WITH A PLANNER IS REQUIRED.

You must complete as application packet online for submittal. If your item has been heard by the Zoning Board of Appeals and you were required to return to the Board at a later date, contact Senior Planner Scott Reale, AICP at 954-786-4667 or scott.reale@copbfl.com. Any subsequent submission requires a new application.

Zoning Board of Appeals Application

On the application, be sure that the owner’s name matches what is on file with Broward County by searching the parcel on the Broward County Property Appraiser’s website BCPA.net. The individual who signs on behalf of the owner must be the highest level Authorized Agent, as indicated on the Division of Corporations website, sunbiz.org.

The application must be completed by the owner or authorized representative.

For any of the above application types, provide the following:

  1. Application Packet - submit an application online
  2. Payment for the application must be made in accordance with the fee schedule adopted by the City Commission (may be paid in-person or paid online with a credit card or e-check).
