Site Plan and Building Design

A FORMAL PRE-APPLICATION MEETING IS REQUIRED FOR MAJOR SITE PLAN AND MAJOR BUILDING DESIGN APPLICATIONS. IF YOU HAVE NOT APPLIED FOR A PRE-APPLICATION MEETING YET, DO THAT HERE.

After the pre-application meeting (if required), you may be asked to provide original paperwork to supplement an application packet. If you have already submitted an application and the information on that application has not changed, you may use the eForm to submit for additional reviews.

Site Plan and Building Design Application

On the application, be sure that the owner’s name matches what is on file with Broward County by searching the parcel on the Broward County Property Appraiser’s website BCPA.net. The individual who signs on behalf of the owner must be the highest level Authorized Agent, as indicated on the Division of Corporations website, sunbiz.org.

No plans are required to be uploaded with the application in Camino, as they will be uploaded to ePlan after the application is reviewed by staff & payment is processed.

For a site plan, provide the following:

  1. Application Packet - submit an application online
  2. Payment for the application must be made in accordance with the fee schedule adopted by the City Commission (may be paid in-person or paid online with a credit card or e-check).
  3. Electronic Signature Affidavits for:
    • Surveyor
    • Architect
    • Landscape Architect
    • Engineer

If a digital signature with third-party verification is used, no affidavit is needed. If your assigned project planner has initialed the Plans Checklist so that you do not have to provide all of the plans, provide that at the time of submission as well.
