McNab Road and Bridge Plans
The City of Pompano Beach is proud to announce the official start of construction on July 14, 2025 of the highly anticipated McNab Road Streetscape Improvement and Bridge Replacement Project. This vital undertaking, supported by Pompano Beach voters through the Go Bond initiative, will modernize a critical east-west corridor, enhancing safety, connectivity, and overall quality of life for the community.
"This is a project that the voters supported through the Go Bond initiative because it is essential for the future of our City," said Mayor Rex Hardin. "While some patience will be required during construction, the outcome will create transformative benefits for Pompano Beach. We understand that construction can be disruptive, and we have been proactively communicating with HOAs and businesses that will be affected. We are dedicated to minimizing impacts and keeping everyone affected by this project informed every step of the way.”
McNab Road, a vital east-west corridor featuring a bridge originally constructed in 1959, was identified as a priority project under the Go Bond initiative. This corridor plays a critical role in connecting neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and community spaces, making it a central focus for improvements that will better serve our growing community.
