The commemorations begin with a moment of reflection and fellowship at the MLK Interfaith Prayer Breakfast, an inspirational morning where the City's clergy, staff, and the MLK Committee gather for a hot breakfast in honor of Dr. King. Later in the week, unity and entertainment are the focus with an MLK Movie Night and Fish Fry. A showcase of musical talent will also honor his legacy with an uplifting Gospel Competition, featuring a powerful display of voices and inspiring music that fosters a spirit of hope and togetherness.

Golf enthusiasts can participate in the annual MLK Golf Championship, a competitive tournament featuring 4-person teams playing a scramble format.
