MLK INTERFAITH PRAYER BREAKFAST

Join the Pompano Beach clergy, City of Pompano Beach Staff and the Pompano Beach MLK Committee for a delectable, hot breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

MLK SNEAKER FUNDRAISER GALA
January 6 | 6:00 pm | Pompano Beach Cultural Center | $50 per person
It doesn’t matter if you two-step, “Twist,” “Wobble,” “Cupid” or “Flex”, put on your sneakers and join the Pompano Beach MLK Committee and the City of Pompano Beach for an evening of excitement, laughter, dinner, drinks and dancing. Proceeds are allocated toward scholarships for graduating seniors of local high schools. Registration info coming soon!

MLK BIG 3 MULTI-CITY ADULT BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

MLK YOUTH SUMMIT

Local High School Students meet a panel of speakers, leaders, corporate professionals and entreprenuers from local municipalities to share knowledge, life experiences, and community expectations.

MLK GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
January 12 | 8:00 am | Pompano Beach Golf Course
The tournament will feature 4-person teams playing a scramble format with a 8:30 am shot-gun start on the Palms Course. The cost per team is $300.00, which includes 18-holes of golf, complimentary food and drinks on the course, a post round luncheon, and trophy presentation at Galuppi’s.

Participants line-up at 7:30 am: Blanche Ely High School. Local schools,local businesses, churches, community organizations, fraternities, andsororities assemble to march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream of “making justice a reality for all...”

MLK CELEBRATION
January 15 | 11:30 am | Mitchell Moore Park | FREE
A festive, fun-filled day featuring a Kid’s Zone, music, live entertainment and so much more. Food trucks and merchandise vendors will be available for individual purchase. Mark your calendar, tell a neighbor, bring a friend and prepare to have a great time with the Pompano Beach Community for this annual, momentous occasion.
