January 19 | 9am-5:30pm | Blanche Ely High School to Mitchell/Moore Park | FREE

Come out and enjoy the 9am parade with the route ending at Mitchell Moore Park for a festive, fun filled day of live entertainment, music, a kids zone and so much more. Food trucks and merchandise vendors will be available for individual purchase.

Celebrate culture, creativity, and community and enjoy powerful live performances, with two featured poets taking the stage during intermission to inspire and uplift through spoken word.

Join the MLK Committee and the City of Pompano Beach staff as we unite the community together to watch the monthly movie | Sound Of Hope: The Story Of Possum Trot and enjoy some fresh fried fish. Under 18 require supervision.

GOSPEL COMPETITION

Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an uplifting showcase of powerful voices and inspiring music. Join us for a joyful celebration of unity, hope, and community through gospel song.

MLK GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

January 16 | 8am | Pompano Beach Golf Club | Online Tickets

The tournament will feature 4-person teams playing a scramble format with a 8:30 am shot-gun start on the newly redesigned Pines Course. The cost per team is $300.00, which includes 18-holes of golf, complimentary food and drinks on the course, a post round luncheon, and trophy presentation at Galuppi’s.

MLK POETRY JAM POMPANO BEACH

A soul-stirring musical poetry show designed to honor culture, creativity, and community during the powerful backdrop of MLK Weekend. This immersive experience invites guests to step into a night of elegance, expression, and electric artistry, all in all-black attire.
