The Fisher Family Pier will be closed Tuesday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 21 for construction in preparation for the First Amphibious Landing Monument. Installation is expected within one week after construction concludes.

Get ready to make a splash this spring as the City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department proudly presents Waterworks, a free, family-friendly event that promises an unforgettable day of water-filled fun and excitement!
Join us on Saturday, May 17th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mitchell/Moore Park, where the entire park will be transformed into a pop-up water park experience like no other!
Highlights of the event include giant water slides and interactive water games for all ages, a live DJ spinning energetic summer beats, a dedicated toddler zone designed especially for younger children, food vendors on-site offering tasty treats and family favorites
From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., don’t miss your chance to meet players from the Miami Sharks, South Florida’s professional rugby team! The Sharks will host a beginner-friendly rugby clinic and will be available for photos and autographs—alongside their fan-favorite mascot.
