The City of Pompano Beach has partnered with the national nonprofit Solar United Neighbors to launch Switch Together, a group-buying program designed to make solar installation more affordable and accessible.

Through this innovative program, participating households can save an average of $9,192 on a high-quality solar installation. Additional savings are available through the 30% federal solar tax credit, making the switch to clean energy more affordable than ever. Optional system upgrades, such as battery storage and electric vehicle chargers, are also available.

Switch Together ensures that all solar installations are completed by rigorously vetted, qualified installers, providing homeowners with peace of mind and long-term value. The program also includes free educational webinars and in-person events, offering residents a chance to learn about the benefits and process of going solar directly from industry experts.

Participation is free and obligation-free—interested residents simply need to register by Wednesday, July 30, 2025, to take advantage of the program’s discounts and resources.
