Special Meetings of the City Commission and CRA | Downtown Master Development Project

The City of Pompano Beach and its Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will hold Special Meetings on Wednesday, October 29th at 6:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, 100 W. Atlantic Boulevard.
The purpose of the Special Meetings is to consider approval of Resolutions and ordinance relating to additional Downtown project elements; amendment to the Northwest CRA Plan for affordable housing; a first amendment to the Downtown Master Development Agreement (MDA) between the City, the CRA and RP Pompano, LLC (an affiliate of RocaPoint Partners, LLC); community benefits program funding; the design concepts of City Hall and Parking Garage; authorization (CRA) and approval (City) of funding options relating to the Downtown Master Development Project, including a master infrastructure bond and certificates of participation; and technical matters pursuant to the MDA required for development of the master project.
The Special Meetings will take place as follows:
- Special Joint Meeting – 6:00 p.m.
- Special CRA Meeting – 6:00 p.m. or as soon after the recess of the Special Joint Meeting as practicable
- Special City Commission Meeting – 6:15 p.m. or as soon after the Special CRA Meeting as practicable
