Special City Commission Meetings | Budget Hearings

The Pompano Beach City Commission will hold two Special City Commission Meetings for the purpose of Budget Hearings on Monday, September 15th, 2025, and Monday, September 22nd, 2025. Both meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the City Commission Chambers located at 100 West Atlantic Boulevard.
At both hearings, the Commission will hear from the public regarding the proposed millage rates and budgets for the City and the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Special District.
In addition, at the first budget hearing on September 15, the City Commission will:
- Adopt the final fire assessment fees for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026,
- Adopt the tentative millage rate resolutions for FY 2026,
- Adopt the tentative budgets for FY 2026 for the City and the EMS Special District, and
At the second budget hearing on September 22, the City Commission will:
- Formally adopt the final millage rate resolutions for FY 2026,
- Adopt the final budgets for FY 2026 for the City and the EMS Special District, and
- Adopt the FY 2026–2030 Capital Improvement Plan.
