Revised | Special Meetings of the City Commission and CRA | Four Key Votes about the New Downtown to be Considered

The City of Pompano Beach and its Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will hold Special Meetings on Wednesday, May 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, 100 W. Atlantic Boulevard.
The Special Joint Meeting is a presentation regarding the Downtown Master Development Project and no decisions will be made by the City and the CRA.
The Master Project Resolutions, including the First Amendment to the Master Development Agreement, and the resolution (CRA) and ordinance/resolutions (City) relating to funding options will be considered at the Special CRA and Special City Commission Meetings which will follow the Joint Meeting.
The key votes are how to finance the new City Hall, the Approval of the CRA Infrastructure Bond and the Master Resolution to approve the conceptual design for City Hall and Additional Project Elements.
The Special Meetings will take place as follows:
- Special Joint Meeting – 6:00 p.m.
- Special CRA Meeting – 6:00 p.m. or as soon after the recess of the Special Joint Meeting as practicable
- Special City Commission Meeting – 6:30 p.m. or as soon after the Special CRA Meeting as practicable
