Red, White and Beach: Pompano Beach’s Biggest 4th of July Celebration

Fisher Family Pier | 222 N. Pompano Beach Boulevard

Saturday, July 4th

5:00 pm - 9:30 pm

The City of Pompano Beach is ready to light up the sky and celebrate the stars and stripes at its largest Independence Day event of the year, the annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular! Residents and visitors are invited to join the fun on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the main beach near the Fisher Family Pier for an evening packed with patriotic pride, live entertainment, family fun, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

As communities across America gear up for the nation's historic 250th anniversary celebration, Pompano Beach is proud to bring neighbors, families, and friends together to honor our country's enduring spirit of freedom, unity, and opportunity. Whether you're a longtime resident or visiting for the holiday weekend, there's no better place to celebrate America's birthday than right here on our beautiful shoreline.

Hosted by Drew from Y100, the festivities will feature music, food, and nonstop entertainment. DJ Mike Cooley will keep the energy high, while Surfin' Rascals – A Beach Boys Tribute Band delivers classic summer vibes, and JAM-X gets the crowd moving with favorite R&B hits. The evening will culminate with a dazzling fireworks display over the Atlantic Ocean at approximately 9:00 p.m., with a breathtaking salute to America and the perfect ending to a memorable day.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and their patriotic spirit. Red, white, and blue attire is encouraged as families gather to celebrate one of our nation's most cherished holidays. Please note that personal fireworks, glass containers, alcohol, personal drones, and pets are prohibited.

The celebration begins a day early with a special Independence Day Weekend edition of Music Under the Stars on Friday, July 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Pompano Beach Great Lawn, located at the corner of Pompano Beach Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard. Enjoy an evening of live music from The Rumbletones, a high-energy band that brings the spirit of 1950s and 1960s rock 'n' roll to life with classic hits, rockabilly rhythms, and vintage Americana charm.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a festive summer evening filled with music, dancing, community spirit, and plenty of old-fashioned American fun by the beach.

Please note that the Fisher Family Pier will be closed on Saturday, July 4, and will reopen with regular operating hours on Sunday, July 5th.

Parking will be available at the end of Atlantic Boulevard and A1A, at the pier garage, and in designated street parking locations.

Beginning at 8:45 p.m., eastbound vehicular traffic onto the barrier island will be temporarily closed for the duration of the fireworks show and will reopen after the display concludes. Pedestrian access will remain open.
