Pompano Caribbean Fest | Gyptian to Headline the Event

The City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the second annual Pompano Caribbean Fest. The Pompano Caribbean Fest will be held on Saturday, October 14th, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Pompano Community Park, located at 1801 NE 6th Street. The Pompano Caribbean Fest is free of charge and an excellent opportunity to celebrate everything Caribbean in one place.

The family-friendly event will be hosted by emcee Tracy J, feature music by DJ Mike Cooley and a special live Caribbean concert experience featuring performances from Gyptian. Gyptian is known for his romantic reggae sounds, especially his sultry island pop smash, Hold You. Other performers include Pan Paradise, the Haitian band Eh Kle, and a Junkanoo Band.

Along with great live entertainment, the Pompano Caribbean Fest will also have food vendors showcasing a variety of Island foods and beverages. In addition, there will also be craft, art and merchandise vendors.
