Pompano Beach Celebrates Major Milestones for the “G.O. Pompano!” Initiative with Ribbon Cutting Events
The City of Pompano Beach is happy to announce that several public infrastructure projects, funded by the voter-approved “G.O. Pompano!” initiative, are soon expected to open for public use. Local voters’ decision to approve the 2018 G.O. Pompano! Bond referendum made it possible to fast-track important infrastructure improvement projects like roads and bridges while also upgrading parks and recreational facilities throughout the City. This year, Pompano Beach expects to host ribbon-cuttings for exciting new public facilities that deliver on the City’s commitment to provide high-quality infrastructure and recreational facilities for residents.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the timely completion of these “G.O. Pompano!” projects, which represent an important investment in our community’s future,” said Rex Hardin, Mayor of Pompano Beach. “I’m proud of the hard work City staff has done to complete these projects on time. These upgrades will improve the quality of life for our residents and deliver on our commitment to be “Florida’s Warmest Welcome.”
Ribbon-cutting celebrations are planned to mark the completion of the following “G.O. Pompano!” projects:
