Pines Golf Course Temporary Closure for Aerification and Turf Maintenance
1101 N Federal Highway
The City of Pompano Beach’s Pines Golf Course will undergo a scheduled maintenance closure as part of its seasonal turf health program. The course will be closed for two days only: Monday, July 14th, and Tuesday, July 15th. Weather permitting, it is expected to reopen on Wednesday, July 16th.
This closure marks the second round of aerification for the season, an essential part of maintaining high-quality playing conditions for golfers year-round. The Pines Golf Course team will be conducting several critical turf management procedures during this time:
“We appreciate our golfers’ understanding as we perform this necessary maintenance to ensure the long-term health and playability of our course,” said Mayor Rex Hardin. “By limiting the closure to just two days, we are balancing care for the course with minimal disruption to our patrons.”
Located in the heart of Pompano Beach, the Pines Golf Course is a premier municipal facility offering scenic views, well-maintained greens, and a welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels.
