The Fisher Family Pier will be closed Tuesday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 21 for construction in preparation for the First Amphibious Landing Monument. Installation is expected within one week after construction concludes.

New Downtown Community Center

RP Pompano, LLC (Roca Point Partners), the Master Developer for the Downtown Project, in partnership with the City of Pompano Beach and the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), is pleased to announce that Roca Point Partners will be issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select a professional architect to help envision a future community center within the New Downtown.

The selected architect will work closely with the developer, the City, and the CRA to lead a robust and inclusive community outreach process, engaging residents, stakeholders, and users to better understand the community's needs, priorities, and aspirations. The design concepts will be shaped directly by this input. The location of a new center has not yet been determined and will also be part of the community input process.

This collaborative approach ensures that any future direction reflects the community’s values, needs, and long-term vision.
