The Fisher Family Pier will be closed Tuesday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 21 for construction in preparation for the First Amphibious Landing Monument. Installation is expected within one week after construction concludes.

Get ready for a frightfully fun evening! Put on your best costume, hit the dance floor, and join us for a spooktacular night of music, laughter, and fun at the City of Pompano Beach’s Monster Mash Dance 2025!
This exciting event will take place on Friday, October 31st, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, located at 1801 NE 6th Street. Don’t miss this thrilling celebration, it’s sure to be a howling good time!
The event is designed for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities ages 13 and older. Guests will enjoy a festive-themed dance featuring music, games, and social activities in a safe and inclusive environment. The Monster Mash Dance promises a spirited atmosphere where everyone is welcomed, celebrated, and encouraged to shine.
