Master Developer Issues RFP for New Downtown Pompano Phase I Infrastructure Project
RP Pompano, LLC (RocaPoint Partners), the Master Developer for the Downtown Project, in partnership with the City of Pompano Beach and the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), is pleased to announce the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP No. 02-2026) to solicit proposals from qualified firms for the construction of Phase I Infrastructure in the New Downtown.
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to construct the Phase I Infrastructure for Downtown Pompano Beach. This project will lay the critical foundation for the New Downtown, establishing the essential framework necessary to support a vibrant hub for government services, community activity, and economic development. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, site demolition, clearing, grading, utilities, stormwater, paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks, hardscape, landscaping, irrigation, and site lighting.
Firms interested in responding to the RFP as the General Contractor must have a valid Florida Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor License or State of Florida General Contracting License. Proposals must be submitted via email to PompanoRFP@Rocapoint.com no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on Monday, May 18, 2026. Proposals received after this deadline will not be considered.
