Lighthouse Point Precautionary Boil Water Notification Lifted

The City of Pompano Beach has lifted the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory that was issued on January 18, 2024 for its Lighthouse Point water customers.

The water main break caused by a construction contractor has been repaired and two sets of testing have been completed with results that show our water continues to meet or exceed all applicable standards. Water used for drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making ice cubes and tooth brushing is safe for consumption. The advisory affected approximately 125 people in the City of Lighthouse Point.

New flyers are being distributed door-to-door alerting residents the precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted.

The areas that were affected are NE 30th Court south to NE 28th Street along NE 23rd Avenue. NE 27th Court to NE 25th Street along NE 22nd Avenue. Please see attached map.

The City Utilities Department is also working in conjunction with Lighthouse Point officials and the Department of Environment Protection.
