The Fisher Family Pier will be closed Tuesday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 21 for construction in preparation for the First Amphibious Landing Monument. Installation is expected within one week after construction concludes.

Horse and Hound Costume Event

Sand and Spurs Equestrian Park | 1600 NE 5th Avenue

The City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department and the Sand and Spurs Stables Committee invite you to the Horse and Hound Costume Event — a paw-some afternoon of fall fun on Saturday, October 26th, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Sand and Spurs Equestrian Park located at 1600 NE 5th Avenue.

Bring your costumed canines, clever equestrians, and creative flair for an afternoon packed with hayrides, a 360° photo booth, tasty food trucks, and a bounce house for the little ones.

Whether you’re trotting in with your trusty steed, strutting with your pup in costume, or just coming to cheer and snap photos, this family-friendly event promises smiles, laughter, and plenty of tail wags!

Costumes encouraged for both two and four legged guests!
