Community Court Launch Reschedule Date

Annie L. Weaver Health Center | 2011 NW 3rd Avenue

The rescheduled launch of the City of Pompano Beach Community Court will be Thursday, October 13^th, at 1:30 p.m., at the Annie L. Weaver Health Center located at 2011 NW 3rd Avenue. The event was postponed due to Hurricane Ian.

The collaborative effort of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, the City of Pompano Beach, Broward County, the Clerk of Courts, the Office of the Public Defender, Broward Sheriff’s Office, and several service and treatment providers, including Henderson Behavioral Health is an innovative approach to handling certain low-level misdemeanor crimes and violations of municipal ordinances.

Community Court is designed to engage the homeless community, help offenders and assist individuals in need of services and resources.

Community Court will be held twice a month on Thursdays starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Annie L. Weaver Health Center.
