City of Pompano Beach to Host Annual Free Tree Giveaway | July 12th and July 19th

The City of Pompano Beach is pleased to announce the return of its beloved Free Tree Giveaway event, which will take place on Saturday, July 12, and Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the City Nursery, located at 1190 NE 3rd Avenue.

This annual initiative, now in its third decade, encourages residents to enhance their landscapes while contributing to the City’s sustainability and beautification efforts. The trees are provided by the City of Pompano Beach Public Works Nursery, which has supported the program for over 20 years.

Each household is eligible to receive up to two free trees, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. To participate, residents must present proof of residency within City limits, such as a driver’s license or a City of Pompano Beach water bill.

Pink Tabebuia

Bottlebrush Tree
Christmas Palm
Foxtail Palm
Crape Myrtle

All trees will include a planting guide to help ensure proper care and successful growth.
