City of Pompano Beach Invites Residents to Help Shape the Future of Public Art | Public Art Master Plan Community Engagement Meetings Set for November 5th

The City of Pompano Beach is inviting residents to take part in shaping the future of public art across the community. As part of the City’s new Public Art Master Plan, a series of Community Engagement Meetings will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, offering opportunities for residents to share ideas and feedback about how art can enhance public spaces throughout the City.
The Public Art Master Plan will establish a comprehensive vision for integrating art into parks, neighborhoods, and public facilities, creating a roadmap that reflects community values and celebrates Pompano Beach’s unique character.
Two sessions will be held on November 5th, with an additional opportunity for public input during Old Town Untapped on November 7th. Light refreshments will be served at the community meetings.

To bring the Public Art Master Plan to life, the City has partnered with Designing Local, a nationally recognized firm specializing in arts and culture planning. The team, comprising urban planners, landscape architects, and public art administrators, will present an overview of their work and gather public input on strategies for incorporating art throughout the City.
