6:00 pm

The City of Pompano Beach Development Services Department will be hosting a Public Information Meeting on the City’s upcoming Vulnerability Assessment Project. The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 25th at 6:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers which is located at 100 W Atlantic Boulevard.

The Vulnerability Assessment Project is funded by the Resilient Florida Program to ensure a coordinated approach to Florida’s coastal and inland resilience. The program enhances efforts to protect our inland waterways, coastlines and shores, which serve as invaluable natural defenses against sea level rise. The meeting will provide important information to prepare our community for the impacts of sea level rise, intensified storms and flooding.

City residents are encouraged to attend and learn how various flood scenarios may affect their neighborhood.
