Private Provider Update: One-Time Registration (Sept 09, 2025)

We’ve streamlined how licensed Private Providers participate in permitting in Pompano Beach. Instead of submitting a full Private Provider packet with every permit, firms may now complete a one-time registration with the City. We’ll maintain your credentials electronically, and you can submit updates anytime through our ePlan Review system.

Why this helps

Less repetition: Register once; no more re-sending credentials with each permit.
Faster submittals: For each project, include only the required per-project forms.

How it works

Register once: Complete and submit a Private Provider Registration Form to Building@copbfl.com for review and approval.
Apply per project: Submit a Notice to Building Official (and Plan Review Compliance Affidavit(s) if applicable) with your permit application.
Proceed with inspections: Once permits are issued, you can proceed with Inspections. (If private plan review is elected, the same provider handles inspections.)
