Although we can't be together for Story Time at the Blanche Ely House Museum, we are bringing these virtual programs to you through Zoom. Sign Up and we'll email you the Zoom link.

Story Time at BEHM was developed to create an opportunity for even the youngest visitor to build a sense of community, participate in age appropriate learning and creative artmaking-- we read stories, create thematic projects and enjoy a healthy snack together. Story Time at the Blanche Ely House Museum - Virtual aims to build a love of reading and storytelling while celebrating cultural heritage and a sense of community.

Upcoming Schedule of Stories:

  • August 5th- Education Equality

Book: The Skin I’m In by Pat Thomas

  • September 2nd - Hispanic Heritage

Book: Pepe and the Parade: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage By Tracy Kyle

Join Pepe as he celebrates his Mexican-American heritage by participating in a Hispanic Day parade. Children will delight in seeing many Hispanic cultures proudly honored in this joyous picture book as we honor Hispanic Heritage Month!

Craft: God’s Eye (Ojo De Dios)
