Story Time at the Blanche Ely House Museum is held on the first Saturdays of each month.

    Book: Animal-nificent by Zion Benjamin

    This wild and wonderful Story Time at the Blanche Ely House Museum is one adventure you won’t want to miss!

    Join us every first Saturday as we welcome 7-year-old author Zion Benjamin and his empowering book, Animal-nificent!.

    Bursting with fun animal facts, colorful illustrations, and uplifting affirmations, Zion’s book encourages kids to discover their own MAGNIFICENT abilities. Enjoy a lively story session, hands-on art inspired by the book, and delicious, healthy snacks, all in a joyful, kid-friendly setting.

    It’s the perfect mix of learning, laughter, and creativity for curious little minds!

    It’s time to march to the beat of a different drum!

    At our Story Time for your little bookworms, we’re reading Tito Puente: Rey del Mambo, the toe-tapping tale of a boy who turned kitchen clatter into Grammy gold.

    With Monica Brown’s rhythmic storytelling and Rafael López’s colorful, musical artwork, this bilingual book brings Tito’s life to full volume. From Spanish Harlem to center stage, Tito’s rhythm never missed a step and neither will your kids!
