Get ready for an exciting evening at Pompano Beach’s Untapped Cultural Arts & Music Block Party! We're thrilled to kick off the 2025-26 season of the Old Town Untapped series, running from October through May. Immerse yourself in the electric atmosphere as local bands and a DJ set the stage with live music. Explore captivating art gallery openings at the Bailey Contemporary Arts Center, discover unique creations from local artists, and indulge in mouth-watering bites from food trucks. Don't miss out on this vibrant celebration of art, music, and community!

The event is located in the heart of Downtown Pompano Beach on NE 1 Street and N. Flagler Avenue near Bailey Contemporary Arts Center, 41 NE 1st Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.

Upcoming Performance Schedule

    • October 3rd, 2025 - Box of Rocks

    A band that plays a diverse mix of songs across various genres, Box of Rocks has been captivating audiences for 25 years. Their unique sound blends acoustic and electric guitars, harmonies, bass, percussion, keyboards, and saxophone. What truly makes "BOR" stand out is their genuine enthusiasm on stage. This infectious passion has made them one of South Florida’s top bar bands. As they celebrate 25 years of entertaining the community, they continue to rock on strong.

    • November 7th, 2025 - Sacred Union Band

    Sacred Union is a vibrant band known for performing iconic hits from legendary artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince, Hall & Oates, and Michael Jackson.

    Formed in 2015 as the 8-piece funk/rock horn band B-Side Jones, they have since evolved into a tighter group with a powerful sound. Since 2021, they’ve been energizing venues across South Florida and sharing stages with national acts like Foghat and Molly Hatchet.

    Their high-energy performances and infectious mix of rock, funk, and pop keep audiences on their feet and coming back for more!

    • December 5th, 2025 - Jeff Llyod Band
    Jeff has spent the last 20 years playing with the Heavy Pets, singing, playing guitar, writing tunes, and touring nationwide. The Jeff Lloyd Band teams Jeff with old friends and South Florida veteran musicians Jason Spencer (bass), Ali Nassar ( drums) & Adan Wein (keys) for a powerful, guitar shredding groove fest of epic classic rock covers and some brand new and future TPH tunes, as well as your old The Heavy Pets favorites.
    • January 2nd, 2026 - The Somethings
    The Somethings bring soul jazz and classic funk to life with deep grooves, rich group vocal harmonies, and masterful soloing. Inspired by legends like Grant Green, John Scofield, Maceo Parker, Dr. John and The Meters, this sharp-dressed five-piece—featuring drums, bass, guitar, keys, sax and percussion—delivers electrifying performances that move both hearts and feet. With their dynamic sound and undeniable style, The Somethings are here to elevate the South Florida music scene one show at a time.
    • February 6th, 2026 - Stryder

    Stryder is a band composed of a dynamic group. While influenced by Synthwave, Indie, and even EDM bands, they bring their own sound that features energy brought by vocal processors, synthetic loops, and ambient organic sounds, all while keeping aspects of 80’s culture and the Synthwave scene. Members of the band have been touring with Wu-Tang and have even been featured on American Idol
    • March 6th, 2026 - MUN

    MUN is a quartet from Brooklyn, NY, that evolved out of the need to experiment and expand the conventional limitations of music. They explore many genres, ranging from free jazz to hardcore techno to trance Middle Eastern vibes. The band's improvisational element and complete lack of fear of being in the moment give MUN their unique raw sound. Mentioned in the Old Testament as the miraculous cloud following the wandering tribe through the desert, MUN descends from the heavens and can become anything you desire!

    • April 3rd, 2026 - Crazy Fingers

    Crazy Fingers is Rich, Josh, Pete, Bubba, and Johnny, who keep the band alive and continue to play weekly throughout Florida. The band has played thousands of live shows, allowing Crazy Fingers to sustain a devoted following and a nationwide reputation as one of the premier Grateful Dead tribute bands.

    • May 1st, 2026 - Rubixx


    Rubixx is South Florida’s premier 80s tribute band, bringing the iconic sounds of New Wave, Top 40, and Pop hits from the 80s to life. Get ready to relive the era of synths, big hair, and unforgettable melodies!

    • June 5th, 2026 - Making Faces

    MAKING FACES is from West Palm Beach, Florida. Their music is a unique brand of "ROGGUNK" which infuses flavors of rock, reggae, and funk...overlapping genres while retaining a characteristic sound.

    • Booth spaces measure approximately 10’ x 10’. Space may not be shared or sold to another vendor.
    • Only one vendor will be assigned per booth space.
    • Artist Booth Vendor fee: $50 + 7% sales tax + Eventbrite fees and sales tax
    • Food Booth Vendor fee: $75 + 7% sales tax + Eventbrite fees and sales tax
    • Food Truck Vendor fee: $150 + 7% sales tax + Eventbrite fees and sales tax
    • All vendors must be approved by the Old Town Untapped Vendor Manager
