Touch a Truck

Pompano Community Park, 1660 NE 10th St. Pompano Beach
May 21 | 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

In partnership with the City of Pompano Beach’s Municipal Services, Utility Services, Fire Rescue and the Broward Sheriff Office, the Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to host the first annual Touch-A-Truck event. Families, with children of all ages, are invited to explore a variety of vehicles at the first annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, May 21, 2022. This event will give kids a chance to get their wiggles out and expand their growing minds by exploring trucks and vehicles. Among the vehicles on display will be a fire engine, a sanitation truck, a dump truck, a police car and more! This free event is from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

With support from the Autism Society of Florida, the first hour of the event, will open especially for families that have special consideration for sound levels and flashing lights. This sensory friendly hour will be from 10 AM to 11 AM without any sirens, horns, music or lights. The fun will continue on at 11 AM with a DJ, access to honking the horns, turning on sirens and the flashing lights. Whichever time you choose, we hope to see you there!
