Andy Beauchamp is an artist who was born in the Bahamas and raised in Haiti. He has been painting for more than 20 years and his work is often described as surreal because he uses various instruments to depict the human figure. Beauchamp believes that music is a universal language that everyone can connect with, which is why he incorporates instruments into his art. His work often features the technique of trompe l'oeil, which means "trick of the eye" in French. Trompe l'oeil is a painting technique that uses realistic imagery to create the illusion of three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface. Beauchamp uses this technique to encourage viewers to interpret and rearrange the elements in his artwork in their own way.
