An Exploration of Identity, Displacement, and Hope Art Exhibition

Pompano Beach Cultural Center
Aug 01 - Oct 18

In today's polarized world of contradictions, competition, and challenges, we engage in physical, geographical, and psychological battles. This multimedia artwork explores these tensions, raising key questions: Can we reshape history and reinterpret the present? Is it possible to bridge yesterday with here and now? By intertwining personal and collective narratives, can we create shared experiences?

The artwork prompts reflection on geographical boundaries, evoking a range of emotions and capturing a landscape of resilience and hope amidst displacement. It invites audiences to confront and connect with forgotten historical experiences we all share.

As Woody Guthrie wrote, "Nobody living can ever stop me, as I go walking that freedom highway. Nobody living can ever make me turn back... 'This is ,my land... This is your land... This land was made for you and me..."
