In a major step forward for Pompano Beach, the next phase of progress is officially underway as the search begins for the team that will build the essential backbone of our New Downtown.
RP Pompano, LLC (RocaPoint Partners), acting as the Master Developer in partnership with the City of Pompano Beach and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), has released a Request for Proposals (RFP No. 02-2026). This move marks a pivotal moment in our City's economic development, focusing on the critical Phase I Infrastructure that will eventually support a vibrant hub of government services, local business, and community gathering spaces.
This stage of development is all about setting the stage for what’s to come. The selected contractor will handle the comprehensive work that makes a modern city function, from advanced stormwater systems and utilities to the final touches of landscaping, irrigation, and site lighting. It is the work that transforms a vision into a place where people can eventually walk, work, and thrive.
For firms ready to be part of this legacy project, the requirements are clear. General Contractors must hold a valid Florida Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor License or a State of Florida General Contracting License. All proposals need to be submitted digitally to PompanoRFP@Rocapoint.com by 5:00 p.m. EST on Monday, May 18, 2026.
