The 2026 Pompano Beach Tree Giveaway
For over two decades, the City of Pompano Beach has cultivated a tradition that helps our neighborhoods grow greener, one yard at a time! This July, the Public Works Nursery invites residents to participate in the ongoing transformation of our local landscape during the highly anticipated annual tree giveaway. It is a wonderful opportunity to upgrade your yard with trees curated specifically for our unique coastal climate.
Every year a diverse and beautiful assortment is available, and this year’s species including Christmas Palm, Foxtail, Pink Trumpet, Crape Myrtle Muskogee, Crape Myrtle Natchez, Japanese Fern, Gumbo Limbo, and the Brazilian Beauty Leaf.
To ensure these new additions flourish, each specimen is accompanied by a planting guide, providing the foundational knowledge necessary to foster a thriving canopy. The tree giveaway is available exclusively to Pompano Beach residents, with a limit of two trees per household to ensure a broad reach across our neighborhoods.
The gates of the City Nursery at 1190 NE 3rd Ave will open promptly at 8:00 am on July 11th and July 18th, remaining open until 3:00 pm. As this program remains a perennial favorite, trees are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
