One Insta-worthy adventure is a walk below the Atlantic Boulevard Bridge to view the stunning murals of artist Dennis Friel. There is a lovely promenade beneath the bridge that offers walkers a terrific vantage point to marvel at the artist’s celebration of coastal culture. It is also terrific for boaters as well!
Friel is world-renowned for bringing game fish and underwater environments to life with vivid imagery, depicting the ocean’s constant flow and the power of apex predators.
The Atlantic Harmony mural was completed in 2019 as part of the City’s renovation project of the bridge which included two magnificent sails at each end of the bridge, which feature a computer operated lighting system that allows the sails to change colors for special occasions.
