Roy Rogers Seawall Project
Park improvements continue throughout Pompano Beach! Currently, construction is underway at Roy Rogers Park. The City of Pompano Beach is investing in a comprehensive waterfront project featuring a brand-new seawall cap, an enhanced promenade, and freshly rebuilt public docks — upgrades designed to boost safety, resiliency, and public access along this popular area where Wahoo Bay is located.
The project is expected to be completed in January 2027, but naturally a transformation of this significance will require some temporary closures and access changes, including changes to the Water Taxi routes. During construction, the Water Taxi will not stop at P11 Roy L. Rogers Park. Instead, riders can hop on board at the nearby stop P7 at Dockswell Dock, 145 N. Riverside Drive.
