It's been six years since Dream Cream Ice Cream Parlor first opened and it’s been earning rave reviews ever since. Owner Allena Sanchious has poured her heart into crafting unique and delicious ice cream flavors, quickly making Dream Cream a beloved spot in the Northwest Community, in the NW CRA District. She prides herself on offering a mouth-watering selection of ice cream flavors and other sumptuous treats for her patrons. The shop embodies the close-knit, family-like feel of Pompano Beach, where, as she puts it, "everyone comes into contact with each other at school, at church or in life."
For Allena, her journey as an entrepreneur is truly inspiring. Before scooping up success with Dream Cream, she spent two years as a realtor and the past two years as a broker. Her dedication to her business and the community is evident, and she has plans of one day expanding Dream Cream into a franchise.
While Dream Cream has been a staple for years, there's a new reason to celebrate on DR. MLK Jr. Boulevard! Allena’s husband, Simeon, opened Seafood 2 Your Soul right next door to Dream Cream in December 2024.
With their business fronts touching, it's a true family affair. Given the passion and success, she and Simeon have already brought to Pompano Beach, the future certainly looks bright and delicious for this power couple!
