Pompano Beach's Drone Show Extravaganza Soars Into Its Fifth Spectacular Year
Long before drone shows lit up skies across the region, Pompano Beach set the standard. In 2022, we launched South Florida's very first municipal drone show, and now the City that started it all is back to celebrate a milestone fifth anniversary!
On Veterans Day Weekend, Saturday, November 7, hundreds of glowing drones will light up the sky just south of the Fisher Family Pier in a breathtaking tribute to our nation's heroes and our coastal community. The show has become one of South Florida's most anticipated fall traditions, drawing thousands to the sand for an enchanting evening of music, wonder, and hometown pride.
The Evening's Lineup
- 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., Beachside Festivities: Our DJ and the high-energy party band from Junior's Entertainment Group will keep the beach buzzing with Top 40 and retro hits, before and after the show.
- 7:00 p.m., The Main Event: Designers from Firefly Drone Shows send hundreds of drones soaring in an all-new, 15-minute aerial symphony of patriotic tributes and ocean-inspired designs set to music.
This free event is open to the public. The Pier will be closed in advance of the show, so gather on the beach south of the Pier. On a clear night, the drones are visible for up to five miles!
