Nonprofit Grant Season

If you’re part of a nonprofit organization that supports our City, we encourage you to learn more about our community partnerships, as grant applications will be accepted online from April 6th until May 1st for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027. In an effort to answer any questions nonprofits may have about the application process, the City will be hosting an online info session via Zoom on April 15th from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. You must register online for the info session.

The City often finds that there are vital services our residents need that we simply aren't in a position to provide on our own. That’s where our amazing nonprofit community comes in. We enter into agreements with organizations that serve a public purpose and align with our City’s Strategic Plan. This ensures that every program we fund, isn’t just a quick fix, but a meaningful step toward a thriving, healthy future for everyone in Pompano Beach.

Our vision for a successful community is currently focused on two main areas: Workforce-focused Excellence and Community-focused Excellence. If your program helps residents gain new skills through education and workforce development, you fall right into our first priority. If your mission is in Behavioral Health, Senior Services, or creating vibrant Community Events that celebrate our local culture and support our neighbors, you are exactly who we’re looking for under our community excellence pillar. These categories help us ensure that our seniors are cared for, our workforce is strong, and our City’s unique heritage continues to shine.

This structured approach is all about making sure we address today’s needs while keeping focused on long-term success. We invite you to explore the Funding Priorities tab on our website to get a better feel for the specifics. We look forward to the incredible ideas you bring to the table!
