No More Rockin’ in the Rain. The Amp Has You Covered!

We know you’re going to be amped about this news! Construction is entering the final phase on the renovation of the iconic Pompano Beach Amphitheater (The AMP), and when concerts resume this Spring, the seating area will be covered by a rain-proof, shade structure. For those who have weathered the storm with many legendary bands, we know you’ll appreciate this stunning new amenity.

The new tensile fabric roofing will provide cover, while retaining an open-air environment, creating a truly breathtaking destination. We are also taking your concert-going experience next level with the addition of state-of-the art audio and visual equipment, new stage lighting, new bathrooms, an improved ticket booth and an updated concession stand.

The AMP, which debuted in 1993, has attracted some of the top names in music spanning all genres including Boyz II Men, Buddy Guy, The Black Crowes, 3 Doors Down, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson, Culture Club, Dierks Bentley, Melissa Etheridge and so many more.
