It’s Time to Invest in Your Success
Are you ready to participate in the success of our New Downtown? The $2 billion transformation of our community will bring numerous opportunities, and the City wants its residents, business owners, and future entrepreneurs to be ready! Since October, dozens of participants have enhanced their skills by attending the comprehensive Small Business Development Series, created by the City, its Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and Lotus Mindset. We are excited to announce the expansion of this successful initiative, ensuring that our community has the education, skills, and resources to benefit from the growth of our City. Now is the time to invest in you!
“The New Downtown redevelopment project is an outstanding opportunity for Pompano Beach residents,” said Assistant City Manager Suzette Sibble. “I strongly believe that financial literacy is a key building block for long-term success, and we are committed to giving our residents access to the tools and resources they need to build that foundation”.
The new initiative builds on the success of the current Wheel of Economic Opportunity and Wheel in Motion programs, which are educational, free and accessible both in person and virtually. Whether you are experienced or a novice, this new series will launch multiple learning tracks and will build towards long-term economic stability. Below are some of the topics that will be included in the program.

The series is designed to position participants for job training, certification programs, homeownership, business investment, and long-term wealth.
