Autumn means Pompano Beach's entertainment and cultural season is back in full swing! From starlit concerts by the ocean to spooky celebration, tribute shows full of chart-topping hits to our acclaimed theatre productions, this fall is packed with ways to get out, gather with friends and family, and enjoy the vibrancy of our community.
Getting Into the Halloween Spirit
This October, we are getting into the Halloween spirit with a lineup of festive events for all ages. Kick off the month on Friday, October 9, as the Parks and Recreation Department presents Music Under the Stars on the Pompano Beach Great Lawn. Spread out a blanket, feel the ocean breeze, and enjoy an evening of great music and entertainment under the night sky.
As Halloween creeps closer, bring out your best dance moves for the Monster Mash Dance on Friday, October 23, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center. This free, fun-filled evening for individuals 13+ with development disabilities is the perfect excuse to show off your costume and boogie the night away. The very next evening, Saturday, October 24, the whole family is invited to Community Park for Boo Bash, a spooktacular night of family-friendly Halloween fun filled with costumes, entertainment, and plenty of treats for little ghosts and goblins.

The Curtain Rises on a New Season
Pompano Beach Cultural Center is humming with excitement as the 2026-2027 season launches with a variety of concerts in every style, from pop and rock to doo-wop. October is especially full of unforgettable moments as some of the greatest artists of all time are celebrated on our stage.
Moonwalk into the month on Saturday, October 3, with MJ Lives, a high-energy multimedia tribute to the King of Pop featuring his greatest hits, a live band, dazzling choreography, and eye-popping visuals. On October 9, Beyond The Beatles celebrates the solo careers of all four Fab Four members, with classic hits and songs picked by the audience. Rock fans won't want to miss The Wilburys, A Traveling Tribute on October 23, an electrifying salute to the legendary supergroup of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, and Jeff Lynne. Then close out the month on October 25 with December '63, a nostalgic tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons full of iconic harmonies and beloved classics that will have you singing along all night.
Now is also the time to get your theatre tickets as we have a full season of musicals ahead from honky tonks to big bands, Pompano Players new season has a sound for every mood. Enjoy the hilarious Gutenberg! The Musical! Get your disco shoes ready for Never Can Say Goodbye- The 70s Beehive Musical. Croon along to My Way, a Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. Then Snap your fingers to the doo wop sounds of Sh-Boom, Life Could Be a Dream. Harmonize with Sister of Swing, the Story of the Andrews Sisters. And kick up your heels for Honky Tonk Angels.
