$200 Visa Gift Card Vaccination Incentive Program Extended
McDonald’s Joins the City’s Incentive Program Offering Free Fries
Program Extended Until October 31st
Due to the enormous popularity of the vaccine incentive program, the City of Pompano Beach is extending the distribution of $200 Visa gift cards for one month. Need more incentive? Pick up your gift card and head to McDonald’s for free fries!
City of Pompano Beach residents who became fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine after June 22, 2021 are eligible for the incentives. If you received your first Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 shot before June 22nd and received or will receive your second Pfizer or Moderna shot after June 22nd, you are still eligible to receive the $200 gift card. One dose Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 shots must be received after June 22nd in order to qualify.
The program is utilizing American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds as an incentive to get as many Pompano Beach residents fully vaccinated as possible. The distribution of Visa gift cards will be on a first come, first served basis and will be available while supplies last or until the program ends on October 31st.
Upchurch Management, a multigenerational franchise of McDonald’s Corporation, who operate and manage 40 McDonald’s restaurants in Florida (six in Pompano Beach) is partnering with the City of Pompano Beach in an effort to support and give back to our community. McDonald’s vouchers will not be distributed to those who have already received their $200 Visa gift card.
