A 250th Celebration: July 4th in Pompano Beach
Join us for our country’s 250th Anniversary as we gather on the sands of Pompano Beach to celebrate this milestone on the 4th of July! This year, our annual Fireworks Spectacular takes on a grander significance as we honor two and a half centuries of American independence with a beachfront celebration sponsored by Harrah’s Pompano Beach.
The festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4th, hosted by Drew from Y100. DJ Mike Cooley will set the mood with live beats, then as the afternoon transitions into evening, enjoy R&B favorites by JAM-X The Band, followed by the Surfin’ Rascals with their high energy Beach Boys tribute! The night culminates at 9:00 p.m. with a breathtaking fireworks display over the Atlantic, a dazzling tribute to our nation’s independence that is not to be missed.
For a seamless experience, parking is available at the Pier Parking Garage for $20 (cash only) and at the end of Atlantic Boulevard and AIA, along with other designated areas. Please be aware that eastbound traffic onto the barrier island will close at 8:45 p.m. for the duration of the show, though the bridge remains open to pedestrians. To ensure a safe environment, we kindly ask that you leave pets, glass, alcohol, and drones at home.
Remember to bring beach towels and chairs, and keep in mind that the Pier will be closed on July 4th. For all details and tips on how to make this festive day memorable, please visit www.parks.pompanobeachfl.gov/july4 .
