25th Anniversary of 9/11
For those old enough to remember, September 11, 2001 is a day that will forever remain seared in our hearts. As we approach the 25th anniversary of that fateful day, our country will stop, once again, to commemorate the lives lost and the heroes who risked it all. The City of Pompano Beach will host an evening of remembrance on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at the Charlotte Burrie Community Center at 2669 N. Federal Highway.
The evening's program will unite the community with an inspiring program featuring patriotic music, jazz, live art, and light refreshments.
As we mark this quarter century milestone, the City of Pompano Beach hopes residents will set aside this evening to stand together in remembrance and in honor of our resilience.
