2026 State of the City
The Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce recently hosted the Mayor’s State of the City Address at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center. Under the theme “From Vision to Reality: Pompano Beach in Progress,” the sold-out gathering served as a powerful testament to the City’s remarkable momentum and its trajectory toward a bright future.
The afternoon began with a luncheon, setting a collaborative tone before the Mayor took the stage for a comprehensive 45-minute presentation. Mayor Hardin detailed the City’s sound fiscal health and the transformative projects currently enhancing the community. While celebrating the "vision turned reality," he also provided a transparent look at the challenges ahead and the strategic path the City will take to navigate them.
A highlight of the presentation was its dynamic format; the Mayor’s comments were interspersed with videos featuring community leaders and residents who shared their personal thoughts on the positive progress taking place across the City.
