As part of our efforts to ensure that the drinking water we supply is the highest quality possible, the City of Pompano Beach Utilities Department will begin a free chlorination treatment of its entire distribution system on Monday, October 2nd until Monday, October 30th. This treatment will be in effect for four weeks. This free chlorination treatment is a common maintenance practice used by utilities. The City of Pompano Beach free chlorinates the distribution system periodically.
