The City of Pompano Beach, in partnership with the Florida Society Sons of the American Revolution, is set to begin construction of a new historic monument at the Fisher Family Pier.
Construction of the 20-foot obelisk will commence on Tuesday, January 20, and will require the temporary closure of the Pier for up to two days.
