At 2:01 a.m., Pompano Beach Fire Rescue received a call about a warehouse fire at 1000 S Dixie Highway.
Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the storage warehouse called Extra Space Storage.
Firefighters battled the blaze and was able to extinguish the fire utilizing numerous Pompano Beach Fire Rescue apparatus. Fire damage occurred to nine units and smoke damage occurred to all 40 units of the building.
